My friend Rebekah admired my fluorite piece (Upward Spiral), so much so that I offered to loan it to her for a while, thinking that there must be a reason the piece seemed so particularly appealing to her. She sent this note a few days later: "I had been fighting these mouth sores for 10 days. After only 4 days wearing the fluorite piece, they were gone! Thanks, medicine women!"

Pretty Bird Wearable Juju participated in the Second Chicago International Poster Biennial this May. To promote the event and raise funds for the nonprofit organization that produces it, Miki Shim-Rutter designed and created one-of-a-kind dresses from fabric printed with poster art designed by the show's internationally-renowned jurors. A wonderful group of models donned the dresses for a photo shoot with the wonderful Erika Dufour [LINK to www.erikadufour.com]. Pretty Bird provided the Wearable Juju.
